The Christmas Stocking – Part 14

by Jaded on July 16, 2010

I am probably going to only blog twice a week until the end of the project. I like to stay a step a head of where I am blogging so that I have something to write about. But I keep catching up to myself!

I also think I only have another 2 – 3 weeks work to do on this project. That is kind of a bummer, I am going to have to start looking for another something or other to occupy my time!

Here we go!

I started by following the instructions, then quickly made a left turn. I am sure the guy behind me wasn’t happy. Anyway, I cut out piece 50 sequined it and set it aside. Then I cut out piece 49 and sequined it.Next, I cut out all the pieces numbered 51.I don’t know what happened here, there were only 4 and I needed 5, so I just cut out another circle. No one will ever know! Once they were cut out, I just anchored them with a white sequin. After that, I appliqued the gold piece (you thought I forgot didn’t you!?!) to the red rood.Ugg, what an awful picture!

When that was finished I stuffed and appliqued the whole thing to the stocking. That’s all she wrote for today, look for the next update on Monday!
